About the Weston Craft Show

The Weston Craft Show is a non-profit event that takes place annually during the second weekend of October in Weston, Vermont—a charming historical village in the heart of the Green Mountains officially listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Proceeds from this premier craft show with exquisite works of art produced by some of Vermont's finest artisans, support the Weston Community Association's preservation of its historic properties - the Farrar-Mansur House, the Old Mill Museum and the Craft Building - which house the Weston Historical Society's collections. Over the years, the Weston Craft Show has contributed over $500,000 to the preservation of Weston's historic properties.

The Weston Craft Show proudly presents its artisans in the Walker Farm located at 705 Main Street in Weston.

The Weston Playhouse provides a variety of social, civic, educational, and cultural events for the village, its neighbors, and friends. It is home to Vermont's oldest professional theatre company, the Weston Theatre Company serving 30,000 theatre-goers annually. It is also the venue for Town Meeting, Weston Antiques Show and various public and private functions.

Be sure to take extra time to stroll around the charming, historical village of Weston and enjoy the buildings that take you back in time and give our New England town its unique charm like the Old Mill Museum and Dam and the Farrar-Mansur House.

The Old Mill Museum & Dam

Built in 1780 as a sawmill and later adapted to a grist mill, it produced lumber, farm tools, grain and even electricity for many Weston homes and farms. Today it is a museum with a renowned collection of machinery and tools from Weston’s industrial and farming past.

Farrar-Mansur Museum

Constructed in 1795-97, the Farrar-Mansur Museum is the oldest house in the village. Originally a home and tavern for stagecoach travelers, it now houses a collection of early furnishings, paintings and artifacts, all of which were made or used in Weston.

Craft Building

The Craft Building is one of Weston's oldest buildings. In the early 1900's, it was the town firehouse. In 1936, the newly formed Vermont Guild of Old Time Crafts and Industries established a working museum for people to visit.
