Pluntky-Goedecke, an award-winning artist in precious metals and
stones, sells her work in craft galleries across the country, as
well as at shows and exhibits in the vicinity of her two homes -
Vermont and New York City. In the winter, she teaches jewelry and
enameling in her New York City Studio and at The Old Church
Cultural Center in Demarest, New Jersey.
Born and raised in Stockholm, Sweden, Irene completed her
education in Germany where she received professional training in
jewelry fabrication, enameling and gold-smithing.
Irene loves her work
and feels lucky to be able to express herself, creating individual
art objects with her hands. She also loves being able to share
these carriers of zest for life with the many customers and
patrons she has met through the years. |
