Pressed Flower Art

Ellie is a self taught pressed flower artist, having mastered her craft through years of trial and error and careful observation. She uses only real plant materials in her creations most of which are from her gardens, the woods and gardens of generous neighbors. Acid free paper, an acrylic sealer and conservation glass (UV protection) are used to ensure the vibrant colors of the flowers are retained for many, many years. Original framed pieces, cards and bookmarks are the usual result of Ellie's creations. She welcomes custom orders.

Ellie’s work has been exhibited in shows and galleries in Vermont, Connecticut, Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
